Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau - Poom Coong village (B, L, D)
We depart Hanoi at 0800 heading west towards Hoa Binh province. Following lunch
in Mai Chau town we spend the afternoon walking through the ethnic minority
villages

in this area. Tonight we will be hosted by a family from Poom Coong
village. In sampling these peoples hospitality, we find out a little more of
their lives and cultures with a cultural exchange following the evening meal.
Night stay in Village.
Day 2: Mai Chau - Xa Linh - Hang Kia - Poom Coong (B, L, D)
This morning we have the opportunity to stroll around Lac village before we
depart 09:00. Our first stop for the day will be Xa Linh village, where you will
walk for 2 hours to see Black H'mong and Red H'mong tribes. We get to the
village around 11:00 and spend for our lunch there then we continuing set out 2
hours of easy walk on to Hang Kia village . From here it is a 1-hour drive back
to Mai Chau. Home Stay in Mai Chau.
Day 3: Mai Chau - Boat trip on Da river - Hanoi (B, L, D)
This morning we depart on our return journey to Hoa Binh town for lunch. Boat
trip on Da River about 3 hours. From here it is a 2-hour drive back to Hanoi. We
will arrive in Hanoi around 18:00.
