Ha Long Bay Cruise

Overview:   Ha Long Bay, located in the Gulf of Tonkin, covers an area of 1500 square km. With more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water this area is one of the natural wonders of Vietnam and now a World Heritage listed site. Visitors have constantly marvel at Ha Long Bays natural beauty. The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves that make a excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck.

Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Long City (L, D)
We leave Hanoi at 08:00 and drive through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta. On the way we have two comfort and refreshment breaks. One at a craft

center run to raise money for the handicapped people in the village of Sao Do. The second stop is at Dong Trieu, one of two traditional ceramic villages in Northern Vietnam. Upon arriving in Ha Long City we transfer to our boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay and admire the stunning view of the soaring limestone peaks. We explore some of the wonderful caves and have opportunities for a swim. The trip would not be complete without a seafood feast on board. We cruise back to Ha Long City in the evening where we overnight.

Day 2: Ha Long City - Hanoi (B, L)
Before commencing our return journey to Hanoi we will visit the Hon Gai markets in Ha Long City West. From here we continue our way to Hai Phong where we visit the beautiful Du Hang Pagoda and the Hang Kenh tapestry factory. We have lunch in Hai Phong then drive back to Hanoi.
