Day 1: Hanoi (Arrival) (D)
Arrive Hanoi and transfer to your centrally located hotel. This evening meet
your tour leader for welcome drinks and a tour briefing before we make our first
journey into the wonders of Vietnamese cuisine at one of the city’s great local
restaurants. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi — Ha Long - Cat Ba (B,L,D)

Depart for Ha Long City, then onboard for 4 hours boat trip in Ha Long Bay past
the islands of Fighting cocks, Turtle islet, Stone Dog….Stop to visit : HANG DAU
GO, huge cave consisting of three chambers, which are reached via 90 steps. The
cave derives its Vietnamese name from the third of the chambers, which is said
to be used by Trang Hung Dao during the 13th century to store bamboo stakes,
used against the Mongol invaders. THIEN CUNG: "Heaven Palace". Seafood lunch
will be provided on board. Overnight in Cat Ba (hotel / boat).
Day 3: Cat Ba - Hanoi (B,L,D)
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast then onboard for 2 hours kayaking.
You and your partner will have chance to explore the wild and grand beauty of
Lan Ha Bay in the bright morning sun. The pictures of you on the small boats in
this wonderful view will be unique. Take boat trip back to Ha Long City and have
lunch in Ha Long City. Arrive at Hanoi around 6pm, relax and have dinner. Free
shopping in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi — Sapa (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we visit Coloa citadel. Pass through narrow roads between
flower gardens, wet-water rice fields, we reach Co Loa ancient Citadel which was
the first fortified citadel ever recorded in Vietnamese history. Now only traces
of the old rampart remain but the main attraction is the beauty of one of
Vietnamese’s most famous love legends that fulfills and creates the souls of
every traces here. Have lunch. Visiting Tran Quoc pagoda, Hoalo prison. Have
dinner and transfer to railway station to take the night train to Lao Cai —
Sapa, overnight on train.
Day 5: Sapa (B,L,D)
Pick up at Lao Cai station and transfer to hotel in Sapa, the town in the mist
of cloud. As soon as arriving in this small quiet town you will be impressed by
the romantic appearance of old French architecture and the streets filled with
various kinds of hill tribes’ costumes up and down the hills. Have shower and then
order for breakfast. After a short relax, we start trekking to Laochai — Tavan.
You will trek through remote villages of Red Dao, Black H’mong and Giay ethnic
groups, pass incredibly beautiful valleys and rice — terraces. Have picnic lunch
on the hill. After a 5-hours trek, have a short relax before our Jeep pick you
up and back Sapa. Have dinner and enjoy Sapa at night with streets full of local
brocade works and children in their colorful costumes walk in group and sing
together. The Cathedral is worth seeing, too.
Day 6: Sapa — Hanoi (B,L,D)
Trek for Cat Cat village of Black H’Mong Group where you could witness the daily
life, the traditional customs, the brocading process made by small girls or old
women. Here you could also see the French Power by Cat Cat Waterfall. Pass some
root hang-bridges to back Sapa town. Have lunch. In the afternoon, visiting
Silver Waterfall, Dragon Jaw mountain and see garden of Mongolia, Gate of
Heaven. Have dinner and take the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Day 7: Departure (B)
Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning. Have shower and breakfast. Free shopping
